get Hateflayer as fast as possible, get Bear Umbra on him, mabey play World at War and tap/untap him to victory. Necroskitter and Kulrath Knight help you control the field. Necrotic Ooze is cheaper than Hateflayer, and give back up if you get Doom Bladed. Wall of Tanglecord for those special "oh crap" scinarios, and Tainted Strike just for giggles against life gain.
