This deck is oriented around combat tricks, Heroic, and Battalion, with Boros Charm and Legion's Initiative to protect your creatures from harm if necessary. I don't have much to say on the topic of the deck itself, but the sideboard is meant to change the style of play from mostly Heroic to mostly Battalion, with some creature removal.

The Warleader's Helix , Lightning Strike, and Spark Jolt are interchangeable, though I prefer to mainboard the Spark Jolts for their scry and to activate heroic for cheaper than Magma Jet.

Boros Elite replaces Favored Hoplite, and Banisher Priest replaces both Battlewise Valor and Titan's Strength , because without Heroic, I don't need as many buff spells.

Viashino Firstblade or Skyknight Legionnaire replace Anax and Cymede, depending on the situation.

Ray of Dissolution , while probably not the best enchantment removal out there, is the one I use, though I don't know why. They will probably be replaced by two more wear/tear once I get ahold of them.
