This is a fun 60 card casual Nazgul deck! The cards were picked for both flavour and function, with the Nazgul and Lord of the Nazgul as the main pieces. The deck contains tons of 1 or 2 drop instants/sorceries to get the Lord's ability to proc, as well as tempting us with the ring, drawing cards, and controlling early game. Recursion is a theme here too, since the Nazgul are known for that - and Gollum, Patient Plotter comes back on his own too.

Despite this being a casual deck, I do want it to be a force at the table, so I'll be tweaking this list as I playtest it.

For now, here is my reasoning behind the cards I selected:

1. Foul Watcher as a better/cheaper Dunland Crebain - Saruman's spies
2. Cerulean Drake as the Nazgul's fell beasts
3. Gollum, Patient Plotter because he too is seeking the Ring
4. Nazgul and Lord of the Nazgul are the stars!
5. Consider - Saruman spying and searching
6. Undying Malice, as the Nazgul cannot be killed
7. Counterspell and Countersquall as Saruman interferes with the Fellowship's plans
8. Soothing of Smeagol - Gollum's internal struggle against his need for the Ring
9. Birthday Escape - the inciting incident that clues Gandalf into the Ring's location
10. Inquisition of Kozilek - the torture of Gollum in Barad-dur where he gives them "Shire! Baggins!"
11. Unearth as the summoning of the Nine from their crypts
12. Claim the Precious - the whole goal of the deck!
13. The One Ring - IT WILL BE HIS
