Dinos? Pirates? Ixalan has brought some fancy options for good old cruel control. This is a semi creatureless deck, being Walking Ballista the only one. Ballista's flexibility allows it to be considered as a non creature card, with the upside of being such: removal, damage to oppo, sacrifice for powering Fatal Push. The upside of a creatureless deck is obvious, leaving your opponent blank draws. The 12 non creature discard available protects it from control.Our win-cons: Sword-Point Diplomacy. So good or so bad? It depends. Pair it with Torment of Scarabs and Torment of Hailfire, and your opponent will have to make very unpleasant decision. For 3 mana has incredible value.For what you can't discard, Bontu's Last Reckoning Vraska's Contempt and the flexible Doomfall will take care of the most annoying threats such as gods, Carnage Tyrant, Bristling Hydra.
