Land Destruction in Commander- not meant to be like a prick, since it's all targeted, and is set to obtain victory through creature sac outlets and ramping. I love denial of resources, and here's a budget take. Smash their lands, not your piggy bank!

Record- 1 W 0 L Opponent- Mono blue with Jin Gitaxis as a general, focus on counterspells and artifacts.

Star performer- Skarrg Goliath (won the game after he counterspelled Icefall for the fourth time RECOVER YAY with a Swan Song), Invader Parasite- Did 14 damage (mono blue after all... and exiled lands too!), Demonic Taskmaster- did 12 damage on a naked boardstate. The most he could ever hope to do was bounce it, and Purphoros did 12 damage from a set of kobolds entering the battlefield. Missed the ability to end the game with 18 damage from the second Prossh casting before he managed to exile Purphoros. Ah well. Never forget your Commander, kids!

Lost to a mono-black Ob Nixilis deck (not stock C14, though- he put in some money cards) and a Damia deck. I'm not sweating the Damia loss- he was playing early-set dual lands and I estimate his deck probably ran over 1000 dollars. When he made "budget suggestions" they included Crucible of Worlds and other 15-30 dollar cards. Won against a Prossh Jund deck.

So the moral of the story is don't go up against decks that cost more than the monthly rent of my apartment and expect to win. Someone raised an excellent point- my deck seems to be geared towards 1v1 Commander games, and I need to shore up multiplayer angles. Changes- +1 Galvanoth -1 Terastodon.Considering- +1 Choking Sands -1 Armed // Dangerous
