A Gresper aggro deck that uses non-red colors to grow board presence with powerful creatures and tons of +1/+1 counters. Reyhan and Ishai back the strategy, with Reyhan making sure the fun doesn't end, and Ishai ramping up the number of counters floating around the battlefield.

The great thing about this Partnership is not just that both of our Commanders are on theme, but they are also on curve. It's insane the amount of tempo and board presence you can accomplish from casting a turn three Reyhan followed by a turn four Ishai. You've lost zero card advantage and have two creatures on the field that both synergize heavily with what the deck wants to accomplish.

It might not sound that impressive but believe me, the fact that any hand that you're going to want to keep is always going to have 2 playable spells for your third and forth turns is going to put you way ahead of the competition, even 2 mana Commanders have a hard time keeping up with that kind of value. It feels good, man.

I'm going to hopefully be working on a sort of helpful guide for this deck in the future, so stay posted for updates and absolutely feel free to chime in with helpful advice on the deck or options for cards. There's an incredible amount of cool things to do with a Reyhan and Ishai deck, besides the fact they have access to every un-red non-banned card in commander; even +1/+1 counter theme has an absurd amount of directions and choices.

I haven't updated this deck list in years until now, and looking at how it was I'm laughing at myself for how off-theme it was, and still is. Even at the time of typing this in, I'm questioning a lot of my past decisions, wanting to cut more generic cards in in lieu of more synergistic options, and there's also a few cards that so it's always a work in progress.
