It tries to focus on aggro early in game and then as your mana pool thickens you have the option of bringing in the more influential guys like Darien, King of Kjeldor, who will build up your field strategically while waiting on Odric, Master Tactician to pretty much just say I can now use my overwhelming numbers to swing out and decide that you won't block me. It is also nice to have Path of Bravery on the battlefield in order for your overwhelming numbers to assure that you have enough life to survive swinging out with all creatures every time. But there is lifelink built in to the deck anyway.
