The Old Switcheroo

• This is a relatively low budget Commander deck (less than 25 before basic lands and Vesnar) based around swapping cards with your opponents, then reaping the benefits of Commander Zedruu the Greathearted's passive ability. While not particularly competitive, it could make for some very interesting duels.*

• Some of the more expensive creatures could be replaced with cheaper ones to make this a real budget deck, but Empress Galina seemed too perfect for Commander, and Beguiler of Wills was too good to resist. As for Vesna, the Sojourner, I had 99 cards and wanted something worthwhile to finish it off and he's just perfect; his +2 lets you retrieve cards that you've given away should you need them back which could be incredibly useful given the nature of this deck, and his -8 could do some real damage.*

• On the other hand, there are some obvious candidates missing due to their price; Gilded Drake, Vedalken Shackles, Helm of Possession, Keiga, the Tide Star and Sower of Temptation would be great additions but are a tad pricey.*

• A few good combinations can be found in there. Rainbow Vale along with Political Trickery. Vedalken Plotter or Shifting Boundaries is great as you're opponent will no doubt end up giving RV back to you and any of the big mix-up cards, eg Thieves' Auction, Scrambleverse and Cultural Exchange followed by Brand could be devastating.*
