this deck started out as an aristocrats deck that then got remade into a Liesa, Shroud of Dusk deck. it still has some aristocrats life drain and tokens, but with more lifegain options to help counteract th damage we are doin with our own abilities to ourselves.

the oal of the deck is to keep steady pressure on the life totals of the opponents using Liesa herself, ankh of misra and pletny of death-trigger life drain/pinging. if at least one person doesn't have significant air defenses, Liesa can get in for damage and help recover our own life lost to her tax.

we can aim to end the game quicker with some burst damage once people are low using cards like vito, Sanguine Bond, grey merchant and Debt to the Deathless. i do not currently have an exquisite blood, but obviously that would work really well to finish things off.

the deck also runs Tainted Remedy to help handle other players gaining life to counteract our strategy.

like any good aristocrats deck, there are a few ways of getting creatures back from the grave to keep sacrificing them for the trigers on our life drain abilities, including Athreos, God of Passage and the newer version of Liesa which help keep our sac fodder coming.
