One of my first and favorite decks that is always a blast to play in casual and sometimes higher end tables. It's an interesting ability that seems to throw high aggro-decks off balance.

The basic name of the game: Darien, King of Kjeldor + Ajani's Welcome or one of the several other clerics will now make it so you take no damage as long as it's less than 40 life (or whatever your life is at) in one instance (or pay life). Then generate tons of tokens and swing for face.

This deck lacks many super combos outside of Blasting Station + Darien, King of Kjeldor will give infinite ETB/Death Triggers. Add in one of those several clerics or Ajani's Welcome to not die. Can then add Archangel of Thune to get some value out of the triggers. Through many rounds of play this combo hardly ever gets put together so I wouldn't relay on it.

Karma + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth Can sometimes catch players off guard.

Outside of that, the deck suffers from high costing commander and requires the commander to stay out for the deck to work. Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Gift of Immortality, Commander's Plate to help with this.
