Bounce your way to damage, control, and victory!

Play tons of Humans with Gather the Townsfolk, Thatcher Revolt, and Increasing Devotion, then use them for mass damage right to the opponent's chin with Kessig Malcontents and Vigilante Justice. All those Humans also boost Champion of the Parish and Kruin Striker if you need some old-fashioned red zone beatings.

But that's not the real beauty of this deck. The REAL key is to then bounce the Malcontents with Restoration Angel and Cloudshift for MORE damage. Bouncing Zealous Conscripts also lets you consistently take the biggest threats away from the opponent (ANY permanent can be snagged, so creatures, enchantments, artifacts, land, even planeswalkers are all fair game!) The sneaky wording of Cloudshift ("exile target creature you control, then return that card to the battlefield under your control") even lets you PERMANENTLY take a creature away if you bounce it.

Other components let you draw cards like crazy (Mentor of the Meek), throw a phantom Malcontents or Conscripts or any other creature at the opponent each turn if one of them dies (the little-used Seance), generate extra mana when you need a "big" turn (Battle Hymn), apply some good old-fashioned damage to creatures (the repeatable Burning Oil), and even multiply the your Human-generating sorceries or flickering instants (Increasing Vengeance).

The tables have turned! The peasants are doing the burninating now!
