Bant deck focused around ETB (enter the battlefield) effects, possible combos by abusing them, and tapping lockdowns. Sub-theme in invisibility and player combat damage effects.

In essence, I built this deck around trying to dismantle other people's strategies in several ways.

LOCKDOWN

Three lock down cards, Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Meekstone can be played in just the right moment to lock down other people's game, while using Derevi's ability to untap all you creatures or resources. Stoic Angel can also work for that purpose. Adding cards like Prophet of Kruphix, Tidal Force, Ghostly Touch, Curse of Inertia can help personally avoid those lockdown effects. Most creatures fly and there are a few unblockable ones, which contribute to Derevi's effect.

ETB

Another major theme I focused on was having creatures with enter the battlefield abilities instead of sorceries. Why have sorceries when they can be creatures? Then, I added cards that would allow me to flicker the creatures in and out of the battlefield to abuse their effects. These would be Nephalia Smuggler, Deadeye Navigator, Mistmeadow Witch, Roon of the Hidden Realm, Brago, King Eternal, among others. Theres also a few instants that cause these effects in a "single-serving" kind of way.

COMBAT DAMAGE and INVISIBILITY

Finally, going against the whole "use a single strategy" tip I always get, I fit one more theme into this deck. Many of the creatures have combat damage abilities, including Derevi. So I added a few unblockable creatures (Invisible Stalker, Lu Xun, Scholar GeneralNeurok Invisimancer), and other invisibility spells to ensure that I get certain effects when I need them. This is specially useful when Derevi is on the field, or when playing Coastal Piracy or Bident of Thassa. Making Medomai the Ageless or Trygon Predator unblockable is always fun.
