Right. So.. This is an attempt to make a land-based Progenitus, which also is a budget build. True, there are a few key cards, which could easily be replaced with others - like Bloom Tender for Birds of Paradise , but the cards in here, were the ones I already had, and money is short.

I've always wanted to make a Rainbow deck, and the Hydra seemed the perfect choice. Granted, some cards may seem out-of-place, and some are just fillers.

The idea is to get a as many lands in your hand while Borborygmos Enraged , is on the field, and start rapid fire. Illusionist's Bracers can be tutored for, as well as Prismatic Omen , with Muddle the Mixture.

Mill-decks are our friend, just be aware of Graveyard removal. Creeping Renaissance is a good combo, although some EDH players might frown upon destruction of lands, but that is one of the strategies to pick.

Angelic Skirmisher is for giving Lifelink to the Cyclops and wreck face

Path to Exile is for a token critter of your choice, then get that land.

2nd. win-con:Tokens - Entreat the Angels and Rhys the Redeemed. I have a plan to add Devout Invocation to the mix.

Return lands to your hand:

Soratami Mirror-Mage can be used in conjunction with Braid of Fire to add a little bit of control, but again, with Borby, becomes crazy. The mage can be equipped with Illusionist's Bracers for an extra salvo.

Creeping Renaissance - Borborygmos finisher

Cards en route:Shard Convergence = 12 direct damage

Raven's Crime - get two lands in your yard

Cryptolith Rite - Make your tokens produce any kind of mana
