This deck is for a user-created format, 2048. TrueTribal's format, 2048, is a Modern-based format in which you build a 48 card deck, 40 in the main board and 8 in the side board, using a $20 budget. I've found the format to be fun, quick, easy to build and very easy on the wallet, as one would most likely be using cheap cards they have in their collection.
So, for my first attempt at a 2048 deck, we have what's known as the Rakdos Dash. This deck revolves around the Dash ability first introduced in Fate Reforged. As most players may know, the dash ability allows the caster to pay a different casting cost for the creature; when you do, the creature gains haste until the end of turn, and they return to your hand at the beginning of the next end step. Now, most of the creatures in here have a low CMC, so you can choose to pay their normal cost; this helps create defense for you, for when you only use these creature's dash ability, you'll be opening yourself later to direct damage. There are also utility cards which can help hurt your opponent, such as Lightning Bolt, Carnage Gladiator, Impact Tremor, and more.
I can't wait to try the format with friends and, hopefully, other community members who would like to also try this new format.
