The Rat Pack, a rag-tag group with many members. It has always had three leaders tho. In this case they are Archfiend of Depravity, Desecration Demon, and Pack Rat. These three leaders are my potential win cons in this deck.
Archfiend of Depravity is the best stop to swarming, token generators, and creature ramping decks. Forcing them to sacrifice all but two means I always have the dominant creature presence. Whereas Desecration Demon is a serious threat that can get out of hand fast!. Pack Rat ensures I never get a dead draw, as I can just turn it into another token and boost him up. Turn two Pack Rat without an answer can win the game by himself.
This is my personal iteration of a mono-black deck. It began as tribal rats but has evolved into something much more while still having good rat potential.
Vampire Nighthawk and
Typhoid Rats
will deathtouch those pesky creatures that I didn't destroy with one of my kill cards. The first strike effect of
Midnight Charm
will turn either of them into a free kill if touched, and the Nighthawk lifelink is great in combination with Sign in Blood.
Liliana of the Dark Realms
is here mostly for getting fodder for Pack Rat with her +1, and the -3 is another way to kill threats or boost a creature for lethal damage. I never use the -6 as by that time in the game the ramping isn't necessary at all.
I have a very high amount of removal in this deck to help me last until I can get one of the win cons on the field. Go for the Throat

Tragic Slip
is a great combo to kill off two creatures for only 3 mana, and Tragic Slip can even kill off indestructible creatures since minus toughness is not the same as damage.
