Sideboard

New Phyrexia is shaking up the standard format and it has made new strategies, or old ones that weren't viable with only SoM and MBS, a real alternative.

So it goes for Tempered Steel. Decks based around this card used to be quite mediocre, but it was more due to the creatures in it than the card that was the foundation for those decks.

NPH has brought so much to the deck that it has to be at least tried again though.

New cards that help a great deal:

Hex Parasite: A nice 1cmc artifact that kills planeswalkers? In a "white" deck?!? okay.
Porcelain Legionnaire : 3/1 first strike artifact for 2 mana? Yes!
Hovermyr: More cheap artifacts with evasion AND defense? again for just 2 mana!
Vault Skirge : More evasion and some lifelink to make up for the phyrexian mana cost, 1cmc, i love this.
Dispatch: Swords to Plowshares! Still very useful without metalcraft.
Blade Splicer: a 1/1 and a 3/3 first strike for only 3 mana? yes please.

Also there's Spellskite, of which i'm not sure it belongs in here, but it's in the side for now, it should do very well against RDW and the likes.

And another favorite: Shrine of Loyal Legions is a great comeback from sweepers like Day of Judgment, giving you an army of 3/3s to drag into the lategame.

All these cards work very well with the engine that was already there: Tempered Steel, Signal Pest and Steel Overseer. Playtest it and see for yourself!

I hope you like it! If you do, +1, if you don't comment why :)

Regards, Jesse.
