Working on a home brew concept for the Scorpion God. The obvious choice would be infect however my local meta see's infect and immediately focuses that person so I am taking a different approach and only using wither. The idea is to get at least one -1/-1 counter on as many creatures as possible then wipe the board which refills your hand and gives you the scorpion god back in your hand at your end step.

The biggest enemy of the scorpion god is the new enchantment Solemnity. In this concept I've put in as many ways as I can think of to deal with solemnity. Easiest is chaos warp, second easiest is making it into an artifact then destroying it. So when you see some cards like Liquimetal Coating, that's what it's initially meant for. That isn't so say you can't use Liquimetal Coating coating for other annoying permanents.
