Looking for a use for Faerie Impostor howabout reusable counterspells that provide a nice tempo advantage?

Plaxmanta is that counterspell, though it only works on targeted creature removal. You might think to use it against forced sac-effects too if there isn't a Coiling Oracle or Augury Owl about. Speaking of which... anyone got any suggestions on better creatures to run in augury owl's place... the evasion is nice but attacking for 1 each turn really isn't ideal.

I did try Augur of Bolas but was unimpressed with the lack of evasion...

Though i DO know that ideally it would be Snapcaster Mage in that slot, i just don't have the budget to get that card...
