Temur Elementals with absolutely (well, almost) no improvements to the deck since its time in Standard.

Watching Jim Davis taking a similar list to a tournament not long ago, I got inspired to dust off the old stack of Hellementals. Being completely new to Historic, I took the deck for a spin in the Shakeup event. To my surprise it performed really well. Now I know that many of the best cards in the format are banned in the weekly Shakeups, so obviously I expected a savage ass-whooping in the ranked ladder...

Nope! Still good! With a 75%+ winrate in the first 25 Bo3's The (ele)Mentals flew me straight from Diamond 4 to Mythic in an afternoon without ever looking back - as cool guys do.

How does the deck fare in the current meta? No clue. These were more or less my first ever Historic games, so I don't know what the meta is. I managed to beat decks like Bant Midrange/Control, Temur Adventures, Gruul Stompy, Dimir Control, Jund Sacrifice, Golgari Ramp and Goblins. You tell me, are they noteworthy accomplishments or have I been lucky with the matchups?

The deck is a lot of fun with a lot of nice little synergies. There's both potential for explosive aggro starts as well as long-game grinding. Only thing that might need a little shaking is the sideboard. Negate and planeswalkers have been doing well so far, but I'm sure we could optimize.

Any suggestions?
