When you have to be sneaky about your real MO...this Omnath deck leans less into a token damage strategy (I'm not a huge fan of token strategies anyways...though I can and will do it if that's what the cards give me), as I find my playgroup will often hard-target my commander to the point where I've hard-cast him for 21. Not that I can't...but it's horribly inefficient. I've leaned in on a secondary engine of a pseudo- Legacy/Modern lands deck strategy for a secondary win-con that's harder to disrupt. And there's something gratifying in hitting someone for 18 Valakut damage per landfall trigger. Either way, lots of damage will happen suddenly and en masse. This deck was originally a legitimate elemental tribal deck, but that proved much weaker than it's current iteration. That aside, anyone have a The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale they want to pitch at me?
