This deck works! The goal of this deck is simple: Get that Ultimate! Once that's achieved and all your spells are free, the fun probably ends because your opponent conceded. But if they don't, OOO BOY!

Getting there is a lot of fun. This deck is full of beefy vigilant creatures, and every +1 on Tamiyo lets you swing, draw 2 cards, and dare the opponent to swing back drawing you 2 more cards. Meanwhile, Nissa is totally down with the plan. She provides creatures to block by plussing herself. And her ultimate is pretty juicy besides. Dovin and Gideon are just there for the ride.

If things get out of control, Tamiyo can switch to defensive -2, or you can sweep the board and keep going. (This is where Selfless Spirit comes in.)

SIDEBOARD

Authority of the Consuls is for those infinite tokens decks, and actually, anything with lots of creatures.
Quarantine Field gets rid of their value engines.
Heroic Intervention does not protect planeswalkers (except from "target planeswalker" effects), but it does protect the creatures in front. Combo with Fumigate.
