I've been an avid follower of the Gruulfriends ship since it was first teased during the OGW expansion. Like many, I was upset by the Forsaken novel, and so built this as a sort of testament, as well as a deck-building challenge on myself. Could I make a Gruul control deck work?

The goal with this deck is not to win, but rather to bring a flavorful approach to deck building and being the friend of others at the table. The maybeboard lists possible flex spots within the deck, while the sideboard lists cards I had considered. Any recommendations on cards to remove or replace would be welcomed!
