Premodern Elves... so much to say! This was one of the most popular tribes in magic right around the time I started playing (Onslaught), and still is today. I opted for goblins at the time, but took note of Elves' clear power, taking my LGS tournaments somewhat regularly. Well, I had all my modern and EDH decks stolen early '21, so I got more serious about working with the decks and cards I had; old ones. (Okay, I even bought some, watcha gonna do? It's a 'spensive hobby).

I tried to have a good variety of tribal synergies in here, a little heavy on the +X/+X effects and tap activations, with an Elvish Piper twist! Wirewood Herald and Worldly Tutor are our fetches, which probably gets Ambush Commander but that's not a given, you have a lot to choose from and what-not. Taunting Elf comes in clutch very often, if you know when to use him. Wellwisher can drag a game out long enough to hard cast Silvos, Rogue Elemental and even Krosan Cloudscraper, I've seen it happen, but they're mostly in here to play for free with Piper or for cheap with Priest of Titania, which has happened much more. Quirion Ranger and Wirewood Lodge untap stuff, and that stuff taps to help you win.
