Once I saw Savage Knuckleblade I knew I wanted to try him out in modern and I believe that SK + Aether Vial is a very deadly combination.

Luckily, there was already a RUG Vial deck played in the 2012 Player's Championship designed and piloted by Shouta Yasooka so I had a base to work with: http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/eventcoverage/tpc12/video10

I took that list, dropped goyf for SK and then started building from there. Having most creatures come out at the 3 drop slot helps keeping the vial at 2 or at 3 a much easier decision and adds more consistent power to the board.

The sideboard is still very much a work in progress.
