Sideboard

Trying to bring back a bit of Pillow Fort, only this time we're going to give it a faster win condition than attrition. Mostly this is a spite-deck I'm building to combat the MANY maze's end decks running rampant at my local shoppe's FNMs. Finding the right balance of mill could be a bit of a challenge.

Jace, Memory Adept is a super-short clock, but he dies to a few choice spells. I'm going to include a fair bit of countermagic for those. Swan Song seems choice since I don't plan on caring too much about creatures if I have a safety lock down. I feel that many of the non-enchantment cards in the control suite have to mirror UW control for this deck to work best. Doom Blade

I feel like the deck is going to be balanced game 1, and will benefit from some good removal options game 2. Celestial Flare seems like a great option since ideally once the lock is down, they can only attack with 1 dude at a time.

Rest in Peace is a metagame call. The Maze's End decks run Elixir of Immortality. I need to get rid of that.
