Theros R/W/U Swing, Swing, and Swing again!

Standard*

lejion

Sideboard

This is a deck I had thought of the other week. I felt as though there was a very strong combo with Aurelia, the Warleader and Medomai the Ageless. Swing twice, getting 2 chances to get the Medomai through, and then an extra turn to swing twice, which can pretty much end the game.

This deck, should have strong aggro in the first few turns of the game, and once you get Medomai the Ageless and/or Aurelia, the Warleader out onto the field, your damage will go out the roof.

Question has been answered, thank you hackerheck for providing a link to the wizards website which confirms my theory.

This article confirms my idea, that when Medomai the Ageless deals combat damage multiple times in the first turn, you will receive multiple turns after the first. For this reason I have thrown in Boros Charm to the deck. This card can be valuable in either A) keeping your permanents alive, B) giving medomai double strike for an extra turn, or C) just deal a little extra damage which may be enough to finish a player sometimes during normal aggro. Warden of Evos Isle is there to speed up the playing of, Medomai the Ageless, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Firemane Avenger, which can all do tons of damage in the deck, plus will all be harder to block since they are flying.

Thassa is there, because she makes things unblockable for relatively cheap. If your opponent has flying, make medomai unblockable, and you will for sure get that extra turn.

Sideboard: I have those cards in the sideboard in case an opponent runs removal, helps to keep your creatures on the field.
