My first deck from scratch; Rick, Steadfast Leader at the helm of a mono-white human tribal deck. I know there are mixed feelings about The Walking Dead secret lair, to say the least, but it’s my favorite show and I was super stoked to buy it. And Rick is an absurdly powerful combat commander!

My goal with the deck is is to try to take advantage of all of white’s best cards, be it powerful creatures (humans exclusively unless their effect is too good to not include), big removal, or annoying stax pieces. I’ll probably be switching around some of the artifacts and more non-essential creatures for more cheap stax pieces and humans that are cheaper and offer either combat buffs or annoying effects.

The best part about running all of the small humans that have game bogging effects, is that it’s not just for the sake of stalling out the game. Those little humans, with Rick at the front of the army, are usually going to be at minimum 3-4 power with vigilance/lifelink.
