This is probably the closest deck I have to competative. I love Willbreaker so I wanted to build a deck around its mechanics, and when I first built it, I found that an artifact affinity deck worked well with it.
The two main win conditions are either with lots of thopters consistantly dealing damage and blocking incoming attacks, or using Willbreaker and many of the targeting abilities of the artifacts to take control of the opponents creatures.
I am usually able to maintain board control from about round 3 or 4 on; I know red aggro could beat this so there is some extra life gain to help maintain the loss mid to late gain if needed.
I am always open to suggestions as I've only been playing for a few years with family and friends so the greatemeta game still alludes me! Some of the cards I wouldn't mind replacing are: Reliquary Tower as I have rarely had too many cards in hand, Esperzoa it adds some strength to my creatures and the bounceback in combination with cards like Alchemist's Vial is good but it has gotten me into some mana pickles, Padeem, Consul of Innovation which gives most of my deck hexproof but it hasn't proven to be too useful overall, Reliquary Tower becuase I hardly ever have too many cards (plus, I need it for another deck), and, finally,
Seat of Synod
is also not modern legal but I like it, and it could be replaced, but I probably wont.
