The goal is to win through a combo, based on infinite mana, or to trigger either Darksteel Reactor or Helix Pinnacle.

Two of the main combo engines are Intruder Alarm and Paradox Engine.

Intruder Alarm

Intruder Alarm is used to untap :

• either lands using Voyaging Satyr, Kiora's Follower or Krosan Restorer
• mana producing creatures : Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender or Quirion Elves
• mana rocks using creatures : Aphetto Alchemist or Kiora's Follower

every time a creature enters the battlefield, which can be triggered by token generators (which are also untapped at the same time), such as

• Imperious Perfect, Kazandu Tuskcaller, Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter
• Squirrel Nest, Presence of Gond, Words of Wilding+Archivist or Meloku the Clouded Mirror+ Sakura-Tribe Scout/Budoka Gardener

Shrieking Drake can also indefinitely trigger Intruder Alarm, by bouncing it for only .

Paradox Engine

Paradox Engine is used to untap the mana producing creatures (Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender or Quirion Elves), or the mana rocks (Commander's Sphere, Everflowing Chalice, Fellwar Stone, Gilded Lotus, Grim Monolith, Mana Vault, Simic Signet, Sol Ring), or lands-creatures (Blinkmoth Nexus, Dryad Arbor, Faerie Conclave, Inkmoth Nexus, Lumbering Falls, Mishra's Factory, Mutavault, Treetop Village).

Paradox Engine can be triggered by Isochron Scepter and generates infinite mana if at least generators creating 3 mana can be untaped. Buyback cards like Sprout Swarm and Clockspinning can also be used to loop the Engine. Shrieking Drake is also a way to trigger Paradox Engine.

How to win/how to use this infinite mana ?

You can use the activated ability of Thrasios, Triton Hero to draw the entire deck and find the wincon. You can inject 100 mana in Helix Pinnacle and pressure your opponent with a next-turn win. You can try to win with the non-efficient Darksteel Reactor, and accelerate it with Coretapper, Gilder Bairn or instantly win using a loop of Clockspinning. You can also let you opponent draw his/her library to death with Blue Sun's Zenith or Braingeyser. You can use Staff of Domination at your will, and do whatever you want. And obviously you can also kill everyone with your infinite tokens.
