This deck aims to win by leveraging Thromok the Insatiable as a weapon of mass destruction by using one of the various Fling -type effects. You also always have the option of winning through combat damage as well.

Slingshots for Thromok the Insatiable

• Fling -- Obvious inclusion
• Grab the Reins -- Essentially a second copy of Fling with an optional Threaten built in. NOTE You don't have to fling the creature you are 'borrowing'
• Warstorm Surge -- Dome your opponents as your creatures enter the battlefield.
• Rupture -- Not only can it clear the board, but it can also clear the table.
• Chandra's Ignition -- Rupture x2

Protecting Thromok the Insatiable and your board state

• Lightning Greaves & Swiftfoot Boots -- Obligatory inclusions
• Fresh Meat -- Instantly rebuild your board presence after a board wipe
• Vile Redeemer -- Second copy of Fresh Meat that is fetchable by From Beyond

Explanations of odd choices

• Lifecrafter's Bestiary -- Scrying every turn for card selection is a huge benefit. The added draw occasional card draw is a nice bonus.
• Heart-Piercer Manticore -- Trying this out, it's probably not that good...
