Hello guys, and welcome to Thrund Blade. This is a new standard creation I have been working on, and I aspire to make it famous! I've built this deck to combat almost every other deck in the meta today. Here's the reasons behind my card choices.
Thrun, the Last Troll - This is the main beatstick in my deck. I dub him so, based on the sheer fact that he is SO HARD TO GET RID OF. The only way to kill him off is by making me sacrifice it. But I have something to stop that... Either way, he is amazing right now.
Olivia Voldaren - This girl has always been good in my opinion. She can steal fatty titan's, (which I think they could be a problem) and even kill off weenie's. Either way, that's what is running the meta and Olivia answers it.
Reassembling Skeleton - This guy is very annoying to say the least. I can keep recurring him to save thrun from sacrifice, and just use him as the win-con. A never ending attacker with a sword is nothing to scoff at.
The Swords - Equipped with any of my creatures, is fatal to the opponent.
Slagstorm - FAVORITE BOARD SWEERER I N STANDARD - This thing can destroy white weenie decks, and tempered steel, without killing my thrun in the process.
Tumble Magnet - This may seem like a weird choice, but I think it could work. It slows down titan's just long enough for me to steal them with olivia, and can keep them from blocking my sword equipped minions.
