The Deck

The fourth entry in a series of EDH decks built with the uncommon Dominaria commanders (Garna, Raff and Shanna done already). Tiana, Ship's Caretaker is a bit hard to build around, because while she is a good Auras commander, she does not recover Auras attached to her when she dies. Other creatures are going to have to do the aura carrying. The main wincon is to aura up some small creature and get in for huge beats.

Idea (1): Recycling auras

The main draw engine in the deck is to replay and "sac" some of the nine auras that draw a card on etb. We have Auratog as a sac outlet but there are also two moms (Mother of Runes and Giver of Runes) who can remove auras from your own creatures. Tiana gets any of these auras back for you to replay.

Idea (2): The non-combat plan

Hopefully you're smashing in with something loaded up with Auras with back-up from mommy or Boros Charm, but sometimes people don't want to play Magic and start looping Spore Frog or playing Martyr's Cause. Your back-up plans are to get Pyrohemia out with a pro-red creature, or slap some kind of totem armor or protection on Ashling the Pilgrim and blow her up a few times.

Restrictions

No infinite combos (playgroup) and no planeswalkers (old man yells at cloud). Budget build, except for the cards I already owned.
