One of my favorite things to do when building decks is to turn drawbacks into advantages. This deck focuses on giving my opponents creature tokens then punishing them for taking advantage of my kindness. Muahaha...

There are several cards throughout Magic's history that give opponents creature tokens. Unfortunately, the one that inspired me the most, Questing Phelddagrif, didn't make the final cut. But the ones that did are Forbidden Orchard, Varchild's War-Riders, Hunted Phantasm, Swan Song, and Mogg Infestation.

Now, what to do with all these tokens my opponents are getting? Fortunately, all but the Swan tokens are weak 1/1s. An ideal first turn for me is playing a Forbidden Orchard, tapping it for black mana, then dropping an Illness in the Ranks on the board, killing the Spirit token and any future tokens my cards can produce. Goblin Sharpshooter and Izzet Staticaster do the trick as well, potentially wiping out several tokens in a single turn or all of my opponent's creatures with a Basilisk Collar. Ratchet Bomb is great removal as well, wiping out all tokens without the need for charge counters.

With all the creatures that will be entering the battlefield and dying, Suture Priest and Blood Artist are there to whittle away the life totals of my enemies. If that fails, I still have the 3/4 trampler I played on turn 2 or the 4/6 unblockable I played on turn 3.
