just tufi, no pir! since i dont play green, and my last orvar deck was a massive failure, i wanted a new monoblue deck that could actually win through its commander instead of endlessly durdling. toothy is exactly that: a card drawing juggernaut that doesnt need any combos or win cons other than combat damage.

edit: after a good playtesting run, i found this deck to be a powerhouse. toofi doesnt need anything to get going, he can just sit and grow slowly while countering and answering here and there, until you reach a point when you can either 1 shot somebody or draw tons of cards for the win.

toofy is the Worst Target Ever for removal! not only you get to refill your entire hand and often more when he dies, you can dodge removal AND get his payoff draws with any blink like Ghostly Flicker.

being unblockable is not as necessary as it seems, because the deck runs so smoothly you always have a way to connect the punches when you have to: Cyclonic Rift,Cryptic Command. the latest build includes some beautiful old foils that dont necessarily bring the power level up, but the deck is still savage.

2022 edit: the Displacer Kitten combo in this deck is NUTS, more on that later
