My goal is to make this a highly competitive sliver deck. With the newest slivers to come out, I see no reason why they cannot keep up with some of the other tier 1 modern decks. I have play tested with friends who played pod before it was banned, splitter, rug delver, junk, rdw, etc. It works pretty well and I always top 3 but any advice is welcomed!

Match-ups vs current meta

Affinity is very beatable with harmonic sliver, venom sliver, galerider sliver, striking sliver or any combination thereof, then side boarding a chalice on either 0,1, or 2

Control: has very little effect with caverns, mutavaults, and vials.

Infect: a turn 2 chalice on 1, is enough to stop any giant growth, mutagenic, etc.

Merfolk: slower than slivers. If they can combo for island walk, then that is one less merfolk since they used seas. I often chalice on 2, then use caverns/vial for my own creatures that cost 2. First strike consistently helps against them.

Delver: diffusion slows down any targeted tempo. I can fly to block delver, not to mention, it's faster than delver.

Storm: chalice of the void/mulligan for leyline

Twin: if it can keep up, path to exile, vapor snag, harmonic, and I have been experimenting with ghostly prison in my sideboard.

Tron: typically tron does not keep up, but when it does, I vaporsnag/path and can usually pull out a win.

RDW: diffusion sliver, leyline, chalice on 1

Scape: Typically is too slow to keep up, however, I sideboard in leylines

Living end: I do not have much experience against it because no one in my meta plays it. However, I would have to out race it and then vapor snag my own creature, then hopefully use mutavault. I would have to say this is probably my weakest match up, though not horribly disadvantaged.

Jund: Chalice on 2, First strike, deathtouch, flying, target removal, and either indestructible or sliver legion all help against jund.

Again, by no means am I saying that slivers can't ever lose. I'm just saying that they have an answer to just about everything and can sideboard for good chances of winning against any deck. Will it always happen? Of course not. But I typically get 1st or 2nd at my local cardshop and haven't ever got below 4th. (typically 12-50 people per tournament)People always say "damnation, wrath of god, etc." And that's very true. However, what decks in the current meta run more than 1 play-set of board-wipes? And what decks main board them? I have one hivelord just in case, and then plan to sideboard the boros charms games 2/3

+1's appreciated, I really want to see this kind of deck get the respect it deserves. Play test it against your own and let me know how it does.
