Twist the Knot (Revised Old Fashioned Twin)

Modern Combo Competitive Infinite Combo Twin UR (Izzet)

Zur-En-Arrh

Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is my take on the well-known Twin archetype.

The list does not need any description (but if you want, just ask), the only thing that I really feel to explain is my choice of playing the classical Izzet version. Firstly, I must say that I played also all the other possible versions of this archetype: the more aggro-oriented Temur and the cruel Grixis version. The best one to realize the combo plan, is certainly the UR version. Therefore I came back to the origins and decided to play it again.

I also truly love the fact that in G2 and 3 it is possible (and very easy) to change the core of the deck and its strategy, going from the combo plan to a pure grind control where Keranos, God of Storms is the shining killer application of the matches.

Please feel free to leave a +1 if you like the deck and the idea behind it, and a comment if you got some constructive advice.

Updates Add

Inspired by this article Knot Even Close, I recently came through a big edit for my "Old Fashioned Twin" changing the mainboard in favor of a more controlly one and the sideboard in a more transformable one.
