This deck is almost all lands. Treasure Hunt makes you keep drawing till you find a non land card. Because this deck is almost all lands, you are "drawing" a lot of cards. Note, you arn't actually drawing cards, so any cards that activate by you drawing cards won't work with Treasure Hunt, because you are revealing cards and putting it into your hand.
Reliquary Tower is used so you keep all your cards so you do not give yourself a massive graveyard, as there are decks that benefit from graveyards such as Consuming Aberration. However, if you are playing the Glint-Horn Buccaneer route, don't play Reliquary Tower, as you need to discard trigger Glint-Horn Buccaneer's ability to deal damage from discarded cards.
