Need help with the mana curve. I know which cards to play just not sure how many of each
Assault Formation aside, this deck has a lot of synergy.
Read the Bones and Sidisi are the deck's means for getting the enchanment (considering grim flayer). The deck holds up pretty well stalling until you draw it. Jaddi is an awesome turn 1 blocker, and Ayli and Graveblade's deathtouch deters opponents from attacking.
Behind the Scenes is an awesome combo with Assault, but it's hard to pull of so its a one of. If you have Assault Formation already out when you cast a sidisi, you can tutor for it and start swinging with an army of effectively unblockable creatures.
A serious weakness the deck has is to flyers, hence the four Shape the Sands (which also makes for an awesome trick. use it on the tree and swing in for 18) in the sideboard. Dromoka's Command is this deck's kryptonite.
However, this deck does gain a lot of life, keeping you in the game until you can draw or tutor for another one.
Jaddi Offshoot on turn one means for at least 6 lifegain any given game.
Having one Ayli out allows you to sac for massive lifegain in response to anything.
Wall of Resurgence can put its three +1/+1 counters on a Shambling vent. If you have a Sylvan Advocate out and six lands, the Shambling vent becomes a 7/8 lifelink.
Against certain decks you could be able to get over 40 and stay there, which is why Felidar Sovereign is in the sideboard. You only need one, because a Sidisi can tutor for him.
Having the tree, assault formation, and behind the scenes out at the same time is game over: don't attack with the tree, and use his tap ability at the end of your opponents turn - then on your turn play behind the scenes and swing for a surprise unblockable lethal.
