step 1) summon trees and create a nice, warm, safe, forest wall to protect for yourself

step 2) befriend a hungry wolf pack.

step 3) Feed the Pack a tree or two.

step 4) profit.

I originally saw a list like this on MTGO, but I can't find the username or decklist now to give credit. Anyways, this is what I put together and it is surprisingly competitive. The trees really do shut down aggro and generally give you the time you need to drop your key spells. Obviously, boardwipes are a problem that I haven't really found a solution to, but that issue aside, its really fun to run over your opponent the 30 wolfs.

Also, the best part, this is a $50, tops, with no need for $100 fetch lands.

I think I"m going to run this at Modern nights at my LGS, but I want to hear from you all first on how to improve it. Thanks.
