Needed to add some dinos to my life, didn't want to build a tribal dino deck though.
Samut, the Tested -7 although high in price allows me to throw both a Carnage Tyrant and
regisaur alpha
onto the field in a single turn, making for a very hastey Tyrant. Or two Alphas for, well, two hastey Regisaurs.
The same Gruul cards you've seen in standard a million times before with my little twist
Attune with Aether & Commune with Dinosaurs for cheap energy production and land searching
Voltaic Brawler literally pump this guy with anything, by itself and/ or with Samut and watch sparks fly
Electrostatic Pummeler Pump this guy with a Larger Than Life for a 10/10 trampler, why not use Samut, the Tested's +1 to give it doublestrike too? 20 damage is nothing to scoff at turn 5.
Servant of the Conduit & deck:Drover of the Mighty for much needed ramp and late game with Drover when you've got a dino on the field
Carnage Tyrant absolutely thrashes almost anything
Rhonas the Indomitable for when i see an opposing Tyrant
regisaur alpha
by far my favourite Ixalan card, great flavour and pure power. Whats not to love?
Pump:
Blossoming Defense for when you need protecting and/or a little more damage
Built to Smash cheap power
Larger Than Life game ending.
Seems to reliably Goldfish turn 5 97% of the time (I'm new to standard but I'm sure thats good (please tell me otherwise.))
