You either win off Blood Baron, Lifebane, or Troll beats. Sideboard is built to fight white, as white is really common right now. Nobody in my meta plays mono black, yay me.

Well, I won on Game Day and I'm very pleased with how the deck did.

Match 1: Red Burn Played artifacts and burn spells, including things like enchanting flying guys for early damage. I won 2-0, but only won the first game, at 3 life, do to the luck of my opponents poor draws.

Match 2: Jund Monsters A deck I know well as I used to play it, these matches were grindy as hell. We both kept top decking what we needed (him threats, me answers). Blood Baron was mediocre against his threat package, but Lotleth Troll and Lifebane got me there. 2-1

Match 3: Naya Zoo Between early guys like Fleecemane, Loxodon, and Brimaz and heavy hitters like Advent of the Wurm, Xenagos (God and Walker), Soul of Theros, and Hydra Broodmaster, I had to work hard to keep my opponent down in this match-up. Blood Baron was able to block his white creatures while Lifebane got me constant advantage and put on major pressure. 2-1

Finals: Bant Rock My brother, so we both knew each other's decks perfectly. His deck is like Selesnya aggro, but he adds Blue for Syncopate and Sphinix's Revelation (in addition to sideboard cards) and also plays Elspeth as a finisher and Boros Reckoner for it's raw power. My deck was super-effective against his, and Blood Baron was simply too good, with Lifebane to help clear the way. It was still extremely close and if he'd draw Sphinix's in either game I won I might have lost. Best moment was when I negated his Advent of the Wurm off 2 Mana Confluence's and won the game next turn. 2-1

So in the end, my deck did what it was supposed to and resisted the Green/White aggro shell. I was also prepared to fight Maze's End, Mill, and Control, which were around the shop but I avoided getting paired up with.
