This deck revolves around Sphinx's Tutelage as it primary win condition. But has 3 other backups, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy,Nissa Vastwood seer, and of course Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. Besides walls this deck has 2 creatures only 1 is considered to give a win by attacking.

Fog is your buy time card / protect planeswalker

Walls give you early protection verses agro decks,

Retreat to Kazandu buys you more time with life gain since you will put almost every land in your deck into play (most of the time)

Disperse- bounces back anything valuable to you, or to delay your opponent if needed.

Oblivion sower is great as for the cost it removes 5 cards from opponents deck and accelerates your mana and life gain.

Mana ramp is important as it allows you to activate Tutelage multiple times each round.
