Tuvasa Enchantress, Prison Wave Combo

Commander / EDH GWU (Bant)

Maybeboard

This deck is an enchantment based deck that revolves around casting Genesis Wave for a significant amount to win the game. It uses hate, removal and prison cards to slow the game where you can combo safely on your own turn. In the meantime, early enchantress creatures provide a steady stream of card draw that will allow you to ramp into your win condition.

Main Combo:

  1. Kiora's Follower or Voyaging Satyr + Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura + any land that can produce 2+ mana and at least 1 blue mana = Infinite Mana

Locks:

  1. Solemnity + Decree of Silence = Counter all your opponent's spells.
  2. Solemnity + Glacial Chasm / Phyrexian Unlife = Cannot lose with 0 or less life.

Payoffs:

  1. Infinite Mana* + Heliod, God of the Sun = Infinite 2/1 Enchantment tokens
  2. Infinite Mana* + Heliod, God of the Sun + Eidolon of Blossoms + Laboratory Maniac = You win the game
  3. Infinite Mana + Genesis Wave + Laboratory Maniac + Card draw ability = You win the game

Notes:

Some of these cards have negative synergies with each other that you need to be careful of when piloting this deck. For instance, Rest in Peace is a key hate card that can also stop your Academy Rector and Replenish . Also Solemnity is an irreplaceable card in order to lock your opponents out. The card can seem innocuous to your opponents if it's not actively hurting them so it can often be played earlier to setup for a lock next turn. Just be careful if you do. Tuvasa the Sunlit is usually not played unless your hand lacks an enchantress creature or all the other combo pieces have been removed.
