We finally got what we asked for; a dedicated Bant enchantress commander. Let's see how far we can take her.

The deck itself consists of a heavy creature- and artifact based ramp package, a modest protection suite, and obviously a major enchantment theme, which can slow and potentially shut down a lot of decks in my meta.

I've seen various suggestions from other decklists on how to close the games as a bant enchantress. I honestly dislike a lot of them, mainly because the combos contain high CMC enchantments which do little to nothing by themselves. The philosophy in this deck is that everything should contribute to something in a vacuum, but also help advance the overall gameplan.

I'll save you for the obvious inclusions, but I'll highlight how this deck aims to win, and which cards differ from most of the lists I've seen so far:

The best and fastest ramp available within reason. I see a lot of the lists skipping the mana elves along with the mana producing artifacts. This is a huge mistake. The faster we get to play our stuff, the faster we can start playing the deck, and eventually win. This is by no means the fastest combo deck out there, but luckily we're not trying to become that. The mana elves helps us get our enchantresses and enchantments out faster, Arbor Elf has a great synergy with enchantment based ramp, and Bloom Tender and Voyaging Satyr allows for infinite mana with Cloudstone Curio and Concordant Crossroads in play. Any deck that runs both Gaea's Cradle AND Serra's Sanctum desperately wants Voyaging Satyr.

Words of Wind. Yes, I'm aware that this is not secret tech, and quite a large portion of the decks already run this card, however this card is insanely good, especially in this version of the deck due to the low CMC and the different ramp package. This card also loves Cloudstone Curio, and obviously Omniscience.

Treachery. This card does a lot of work. At worst, you get to steal the best creature on the table and potentially get free ramp while doing so through your enchantment ramp and broken lands. At best, this goes infinite with Cloudstone Curio, a cheap enchantment to bounce Treachery and Gaea's Cradle or Serra's Sanctum.

Evolutionary Leap. A key card in this deck. The ability to turn your mana dorks into enchantress, and eventually into Academy Rector for the win, is huge. There's also great synergy between this and Concordant Crossroads, which allow you to keep digging in case you hit another dork. It can also be used to bounce Eternal Witness repeatedly with Cloudstone Curio on the table.

As you can see by now, this deck primarily wins through drawing our entire deck or by bouncing all permanents that opponents control.

With that said, I'd like to outline a couple of the cards you don't really see in other lists: Cho-Manno's Blessing and Vanishing.

Cho-Manno's Blessing plays two roles here. It is instant-speed protection against spot removal, but also allows you to draw a card out of turn while providing said protection. Furthermore, it fills the niche of Commander damage, essentially replacing the one-of Aqueous Form/Steel of the Godhead/Rogue's Passage that I see in many other lists.

Vanishing serves a similar purpose of protection, but this works on both spot removal and board wipes. However, the real reason for including this is that it is similar to Darksteel Mutation and Lignify: It enables you to take care of enemy Commanders, effectively shutting down (some) decks. People know from Zur how annoyingly difficult it can be to play around it.

Please note that the land package is a placeholder, as it consists of my leftover cards from an old Derevi enchantress deck.
