Tymaret The Standard King

Standard BR (Rakdos) Burn Humans

I wanted to make a standard deck with Tymaret, the Murder King that can kind of be competitive. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Now to explain the deck:

Thoughtseize: This is a great way for the deck to deal with big threats before they happen. Mainly Master of Waves since he has protection from red and Polukranos, World Eater since he can easily board wipe us.

Tormented Hero : Early game creature for either blocking or attacking, either way he's expendable and low mana.

Magma Jet: Can possibly get rid of problematic creatures or can be used just as burn damage against our opponents. The main reason it's in here is to scry, allowing us to avoid bad draws.

Act of Treason: A great card in this deck, especially when combined with Tymaret, the Murder King. Basically allows us to scab a creature, then swing with it, and then sacrifice it to maximize damage.

Lightning Strike: This card is great for burn damage or getting rid of problematic creatures such as Nightveil Specter.

Rakdos Shred-Freak : An okay creature, mainly in the deck as sacrifice fodder for Tymaret, the Murder King.

Rix Maadi Guildmage : Allows for some additional damage or posiibly getting rid of blocking creatures.

Tymaret, the Murder King: Our main creature in the deck, he costs low mana as well as his abilities and can do some decent damage over time. In addition, he can come back from the grave.

Xathrid Necromancer: Since most of the creatures in the deck are Humans, he benefits us greatly since we can sacrifice without worrying about not having blockers.

Hero's Downfall: The more creature hate the better, and it's also really helpful that this can get rid of Planeswalkers and it's an instant. I decided to run this over Dreadbore because it's mono-black and as a result we can kill Master of Waves with it.

Underworld Cerberus : A possible game ender, he has great power and toughness for his CMC and with our burn removal spells we can make sure he goes unblocked for the most part. When he dies we get all of our creatures back to play down, allowing for more sacrifice and possibly the game.

Mogis's Marauder: A human that works well with our sacrifice theme and can possibly make things unblockable. I might consider running some more as it seems like my devotion to black can potentially be pretty big.

Anger of the Gods: When things get hairy, we potentially board wipe. Just take caution as this will exile creatures.

As far as the sideboard goes...

Erebos, God of the Dead: In here in case we need draw power or if our opponent is running lifegain. It also helps that he has the potential to become a creature.

Rakdos Charm: In here just for Mono-Blue Devotion, but is a great side against any deck that runs lots of creatures.

Electrickery: In here also for Mono-Blue Devotion. We can easily get rid of the Elemental tokens created by Master of Waves making the deck not nearly as intimidating. Also if you get it out early enough you can get rid of Pack Rat.

Dark Betrayal : Placed in here for Mono-Black Devotion and Mono Blue Devotion a bit. Our main targets are going to be Nightveil Specter, Desecration Demon, and Pack Rat.

Doom Blade: When we're going against anything that's not Mono-Black Devotion we're going to probably side these in, especially since we can get rid of Master of Waves.

Altar's Reap: In here just in case we need more draw power.

Slaughter Games: Side this in once you know what you're dealing with allowing you to potentially shut down your opponent's deck or at least cripple it.

Also if someone would be willing to make a picture of Tymaret, the Murder King's art bu instead of holding some human head holding up Master of Waves's head, that would be top.

Updates Add

First Game: I went 2-1 against Naya Slivers. I lost the second game due to pure forgetfulness. I had a Thoughtseize in my hand that I didn't cast and swung in for lethal when the guy fogged. Lost next turn. Besides that the deck dominated the sliver hive.

Second Game: Went against an aggro selesyna deck and lost 0-2. My removal spells couldn't keep up with the army building and Advent of the Wurm was the death of me every time.

Third Game: Going against a weird Esper build that I can only describe as Azorious Humans with black thrown in for Obzedat, Ghost Council. Went 0-2, due to a lack of attention from both me and the other player. We both had out two Xathrid Necromancer and he swung with both, I blocked with both. As a result 4 zombie tokens were placed on both of our fields...untapped. They should have been tapped and because of that I couldn't swing in for lethal on my turn. I may not have won 2-1 but I could have got one win in.

Fourth Game: Final game was against a Boros control deck built around Purphorous, God of The Forge and token generation via Young Pyromancer and Assemble the Legion. I won 2-1 by using creature removal on threats like Young Pyromancer and Boros Reckoner and also scabbing his creatures and then sacrificing them. I won the last game due to sheer luck as he only drew lands for the last four turns leaving him open for attacks.

Sideboard will be updated to better suit against future matchups. I will NOT be posting the changes that I made right away though.
