Looking to build a budget Dimir control/mill deck. Have minimal knowledge of control/mill decks so any suggestions welcome.

Hoping to counter most early game things, use despise/duress to the same effect and see what is going on in their hand.

Get out Jace's Phantasm and Mindmelter, cipher on paranoid delusions. As pretty much all the creatures are flyers the cipher should work well.

After some playtesting will possibly remove some of the higher cmc creatures, just want to test out their effectiveness first.

Still working on the sideboard. Side board has a few board wipe cards for creature/aggro decks, and specific removal and counters.

Any advice on:

• Mana base

• Amount of counter cards you think are required

• Creature removal (Ultimate Price/Grasp of Darkness/Removal) or focus on counters

• Whether despise/duress are more effective than counters (I think they are as they are 1 cmc and you remove the card and see their hand)

• Sideboard
