Because of the nature of Eldrazi, this deck can do something not many other decks can do - aggro while still controlling. Typically control is a defensive strategy but with Eldrazi they build their numbers quickly, ingest and process, all while swinging out dealing damage.
Your opponent won't be able to keep blockers on the field or cast spells as you swing away at that pesky life of theirs. If they make it to late game there's a couple gigantic Eldrazi waiting for them.
Early game make sure to feed the drones,
Salvage Drone
and
Mist Intruder
. Slip Through Space is great for getting ingest through and possibly an unblockable 9/9 despoiler. Transgress the Mind will give an early look into the players hand if its in the opening hand and could get rid of a pivotal card that can hurt us like creature removal. Counters/removals like Horrible Awry,
Void Shatter
and
Complete Disregard
will help keep their field from forming at a relatively low cost.
I added some splashed buffing from
Ruination Guide
and Bone Saw to make those small CMC cards hurt more.
Then processing ensues and keeps the game plan moving forwards. Wasteland Strangler is a 3/2 that will take a an even larger creature just by entering the field. By the time
Mind Raker
enters there won't be as many cards in their hands and hopefully force them to get rid of a card they've been waiting to play.
Ulamog's Nullifier
is the apex of the deck, with a flash/counter to interrupt and flying to make it hard to block.
Ulamog's Despoiler will hopefully hit mid/late game for lethal, most likely being unblockable or enemy creatures being tapped. Sire of Stagnation is a really strong 6 cost that gives card draw and being 5/7 will eat up a lot of chump blocks.
I'd like to create a deck that is fun, effective, and very (very) afforable. BUT I am always looking for some serious cards for sh'ts and gigs to see the potential of the deck. Always open to suggestions. I'll try to be as active in updates as possible.
