"Can't touch this." - MC Hammer
The crux of this deck is to send out creatures with very high evasion to chip away at your opponent's health. Individually the creatures are pretty low-power, but they can be bolstered with artifacts and enchantments. The deck has a lot of bounce in it to simultaneously clear a path as well as stall your opponent.
Elusive Spellfist - Pseudo-Prowess lets him bypass defenses. Probably the weakest creature here, but he works with the theme.
Invisible Stalker - Weak, but darn near unkillable. Slap an artifact on him and have fun!
Marang River Prowler
- Functions similarly to Invisible Stalker. He's more costly to cast and more vulnerable but he does a hair more damage and can also be cast from the graveyard, thus making it more likely that I can keep an unblockable on the board.
Silhana Ledgewalker
- While not fully unblockable and not a Human (so it doesn't get the extra perks from the artifacts), it's unblockable against most creatures and is hexproof. It'll do.
Butcher's Cleaver
- Great weapon for a tribal Humans deck! A little slow to cast & equip, which is the only reason I don't have four of them in.
Silver-Inlaid Dagger
- A quicker version of
Butcher's Cleaver
, albeit lacking in Lifelink.
Curiosity - A one-drop that can mean major card draw over the course of a game? Yes please.
Negate - Counter the things! This deck has plenty of ways to deal with troublesome creatures, so these can be used to handle anything else.
Unsummon - Bounce an enemy creature back to their hand.
Vapor Snag - Bounce an enemy creature back and ping for damage.
Simic Charm - Great multitasker! It can buff a creature on the attack, protect creatures, or bounce an enemy back to their player's hand.
The sideboard is in progress, but thus far...
Annul
- This deck doesn't have much in the way of removal, so this can stop certain threats from resolving.
Crush of Tentacles
- A mass bounce could be entertaining.
Essence Scatter - With as much bounce as the mainboard has one probably won't need to counter creature spells, but these are around in case your opponent has something with nasty "enter the battlefield" effects.
This deck is largely for fun but it looks like it could do pretty well in a casual matchup. I see it having trouble against aggro swarm (blocking with my own creatures will surely kill them) and lots of flyers.
