So I opened my daily mtg pack 3 days ago. It was Eldritch Moon. I fell in love with Eldritch Moon when I first laid eyes on Eternal Scourge (which reminds me...). So, when I opened the pack, I saw that it contained Cathar's Shield and Stitcher's Graft . I saw them both together, and it was at that moment that this deck was born. I always liked Kazuul's Toll Collector . I even nearly won a draft with him back when Shadows was the newest thing. And it just so happens that Ivan (the nickname that I gave him) synergies very well with Cathar's Shield's expensive equip cost.

Basically, the deck goes like this, cast your early equipment for low costs. Cathar's Shield to surge into Goblin Freerunner (optional), then cast Ivan and attach Stitcher's Graft and Cathar's Shield to him. Boom! you get the benefit of the Grafts with the low cost and the vigilance of the Shield to attack without tapping and therefore not have your creature paralyzed every time it attacks. Literally almost everything else makes your opponent unable to block your insanely-buffed creature. Simple, fast, and effective. With this budget deck, your opponent won't be able to react fast enough or get mana fast enough to stop your attacks.
