Ever played a deck where your goal is to lose life?
Meet Unlose. A concept crafted in the darkest of thoughts.
With this deck, the intention is to selfharm our life total below or near 0 using Phyrexian Unlife, then give that life total to opponents using Repay in Kind or Soul Conduit. We can also win with one life using Near-Death Experience.
Selfharm
Getting to 0 life is accomplished by creatures and spells with life-harming abilities, namely Immolating Souleater. Sign in Blood also will help life loss. Killing Wave will keep most creatures at bay until we can ensure our opponents' demise.
Copout
To get to the point of 0 life, one has to be sure not to go past it too early. "Copout" cards just stop damage until a win condition is ready. Fog, Clinging Mists and Hallow can keep us alive for a turn while we draw for another copout, and then Phyrexian Unlife will guaranteed keep life loss from being too much of a worry.
Protection
If this deck is going to be depending on Phyrexian Unlife so much, of course it needs to make sure we aren't caught with our pants down. Indestructibility of course will keep a Phyrexian Unlife there. Sphere of Safety similarly helps us to avoid opponent's attacks.
Then there are some Dimir Machinations which help us draw or tutor essential cards, and Market Festival to help us get every color of needed mana more easily.
